My name is Cody Cardinal and I’m a sophomore at Marian University. I ’m studying to be a teacher and my
degree will be in Elementary and Middle School Education with a minor in Environmental Science. The reasons that I’m becoming a teacher are because I love working with children and fostering that self-based learner. It is just
amazing to me see the growth of knowledge and interest in a student from the start of the school year to the end. My goal as a teacher is to be the best teacher that my students need me to be and provide all my students the
opportunity to achieve their goals.
Having the opportunity to take Tech 200 was a great asset to my teaching career. We as future teachers
have to understand that the students in our classrooms are technology natives and have the ability to do wonders on a computer. With understanding that element of my students I know that the web 2.0 tools that I learned will be a
great necessity to my classroom. With completing this Tech course, it has provided many tools and resources for me to use and engage my students.
